First Aid

 Minimum contents for your Personal First Aid kit, as advised by the San, are:

• Latex gloves
• Triangular bandage
• Roll of ZnO tape
• 7.5 cm x 4.0 m conforming bandage
• Phial of sterile irrigation solution
• Roll of ZnO tape
• Low adherent dressing
• Adhesive dressing
• Alcohol-free cleansing wipes
• Selection of plasters
• Butterfly plaster
• Tweezers

All of these items, in a rigid polythene box come in the WinColl DofE First Aid kit, price £4.50. We no longer take Group First Aid kits, relying instead on pooling the resources from personal kits. But that does assume that those personal kits do in fact contain the basic stuff.
